Sorry this is rather gruesome.

The downside of owning a snake is that he requires dead mice to eat. I had to go into the pet shop today anyway to buy a new heat bulb since Bob's had packed in in the middle of the night (setting off the alarm- at 4.30 in the morning) and took the opportunity to get mice too. Normally when you ask for mice you just ask them for what you want and they pick them out and put them in a bag. Today they arrived all neatly slotted into this ziplock pouch.
