At the Beach

We've had a very summery day of 26C. This afternoon I attended a special Memorial service in a beautiful garden out in the country. It is the home of Margaret Peace who died recently at age 93. Her extended family had organized a wonderful sendoff attended by folks from all walks of life. Margaret was a remarkable woman and a great advocate for the environment. She will be sadly missed but well remembered.
Later I drove to Rarangi Beach where many folk were enjoying the summery weather.
