Rare and Endangered

This is the Melaleuca megalongensis which I blipped almost three years ago.

Commonly known as the Megalong Bottlebrush, they only grow in our small corner of the valley.

The local council got very excited about them about the time of my last blip and have put unsightly purple poles along the road to alert people to their presence.

We have a few on the farm. 
I'm not sure Mr isbi didn't pull several up before we became aware of their importance :-(
