Hiking
I went hiking with some friends in Changshu today. So what I've often learned in China is just because something is referred to as a mountain, that doesn't make it a mountain. The place I went hiking was more of a hill, but in reality, it was still a great day.
The temperature was up around 35-40*C so I sweat out every ounce of liquid in my body. It was hot, but clear. So when we got to the top of the mountain, we were able to see for several kilometers.
As we headed down the hill, my friend who had been here twice before tried to take us on a path through the woods, but somehow we ended up on a road which wound down the hill. At the bottom of the hill was an area with several ponds and a tea house. We spent at least an hour there just relaxing and drinking beer and tea.
Around the tea house were chickens and goats. This is one of the goats who was not very happy because she was tied up while her friends were off roaming free.
