Silk

My colleague/pal who I'm on placement with at the moment lent me this scarf for Children In Need today, my wardrobe being remarkably free of spotty items. It's a silk scarf that used to belong to her grandad in what she reckons was the 1940s. Her grandad was a carpenter and wasn't the kind of man that would normally swan around in such an item, and apparently this was quite some status symbol for a man like that in those days. For those watching in black and white, it's actually navy blue in real-life. And the pink is next to the green...
