The boys are looking well but not keen on a cuddle just yet. They looked down onto me sprawled on the floor looking up at them. We had a good drive from Glasgow and as always it's good to be here.

I always enjoy our visits to Valencia, the fourth visit for John and I to this apartment. It is situated on the sixth floor with a side view of the sea and beautiful wide beach. The block is in a working area a few miles east of the city centre and only steps away from the recently opened Consum supermarket. All five of us live in a rural area and between us found it novel to pop over to the store 2-3 times a day for essentials when on holiday - bread and wine.....

The bus service into the town was excellent and any number of cycles are available to hire as seen in many cities now. Each time we visit the comment of 'we ought to try one of these' has come to nothing. There are a number of eating places in the area and both here and elsewhere we had great service and food at a reasonable price.
