Brave soldier

We got at the furthest point away from our starting point at lunch time when Rosie appeared out of the bushes with her paw held aloft. I felt horrible then making her walk back to the car but there really wasn't much choice. I cleaned her foot and bandaged it but obviously hadn't addressed it properly as she continued to sit pitifully in front of me with her paw in the air. One trip to the vet later and a deep cut diagnosed we have proper bandages, painkillers and antibiotics. I need all your positive thoughts now though - if she doesn't start healing by her 9am Monday appointment then I'm paying out for general anaesthetic and stitches...

The vet nurse did ask if I had a nursing background though, such was the splendid job I had done.

Not much other news, yay for the weekend though.
