New Boots

The HG and I got a small windfall from the taxman (no begging letters please) and he decided that he would buy new walking boots with some of his share.

So off we went this morning to Glasgow and Tiso's, and he was lucky enough to get good attention from a very knowledgeable young salesman.  He has picked a pair of very nice boots, and let's hope they are suitable.  He will wear them in the house a bit before going out, just to make sure.

Afterwards we crossed over to the Buchanan Galleries as we had a voucher for lunch at Ziggi's.  We are really on a roll, are we not?  So we had a lovely lunch and a wander around the Gallery shops, before heading back to the railway station and home.....and we don't need dinner, we ate so much!

A bit of sleet in the morning, and a bit of rain in Glasgow as well as a bit of sunshine.  I think we will have some snow tonight, the sky looks like it!
