Palmeras de Malaga

Today we set off from our friend's apartment near Fuengirola to catch the train to the airport...only to discover when we got there that our flight to Barcelona had been cancelled :( (camper van Alf has now been left down south hence flying back). We were told the next available flight would leave at 21:45 (we were supposed to fly at 13;50) so decided to head into Malaga to kill some time. The Malaga Feria was in full swing with lots of young people getting stuck into bottles of Don Simon, and lots of ladies dressed in traditional Spanish flamenco style dresses. Very much the party atmosphere! It was very hot, naturally, being August in the south of Spain, so we needed a few stop offs to get to the beach. This is the park that runs alongside the beach with a promenade and benches etc.
We finally made it to our hotel in Barcelona at about 1am - tired!
