Pigs might roll

Tomorrow the children's hospice across the road from our church will hold its annual fete. These pigs (three in total) are always a big hit.

This morning my mother was walking the family dog when it was attacked by another dog. My mother was slightly hurt on her neck and fingers as she was bending down to our dog when the other one attacked. She went to hospital. Our dog was also hurt. And ended up at the vets. To the best of my knowledge, the rescue dog shelter from which the dog was being fostered is unwilling to pay the vet bills.
