Farewell to New Zealand

On the last active day of my wildlife trip around NZ I had wonderful views of this massive bird - the Northern Royal Albatross. A number of birds were soaring around the only mainland breeding colony, near Dunedin, on their enormous 3+ metre wide wings on one of the sunniest days of the whole trip. A long flight facing me tomorrow!
