Farewell

To our very dear friend Roger. The service was beautiful and afterwards at a place where he spent a great deal of his life, the Shoreham Sailing Club, we joined his wife, M, and other friends to share many memories of the very special man that was Roger.

Finally we wished him a 'calm sail down the slipway and onto an unknown shore' - the final words said by the Celebrant at the service, which I liked very much, although I thought it would have been pretty challenging sailing weather today!
