Metals Scrap Yard

 
I got off my bicycle to spend a few minutes watching a fellow deftly operate a machine for moving scrap metal.
The spectrum of metal artifacts being piled up fascinated me.
Some items, like the school bus carcass and flattened automobile bodies, are easily identifiable.
Most of the metallic detritus has lost all of its reason for being on the way to the smelter.
