Green Grouper

Went out for dinner at Morgans last night with friends. Not the best restaurant in the world but it had live music.

We should know better by now than to order from the high end of the menu, but the description of this particular dish sounded fabulous. It was grouper with a crispy topping served with a thai green curry sauce on a bed of cucumber and tomato salad. There was also shrimp somewhere in that description and it was priced at $24.

What I got was a very nice piece of fish topped with some sort of very hot green puree, but nary a shrimp in sight. Certainly not my interpretation of a Thai curry! It came with sauteed vegetables and, oddly, mashed potatoes. No way was it worth $24.

Next time I'll stick with something simple and cheap.
