Skipper Still Seeking Nectar

This is the first year I have paid attention to these little ones, so I don't know if they should still be around or not. I image with the warmer weather we have had, it has kept them here.

Tomorrow morning is suppose to be close to freezing, so this might be the last time I get to photograph these little beauties.

I noticed that the mocking birds are starting to snatch the dates on the ground next door and coming over here to feast on them. There are quite a few olives on the ground as well, so the birds will be well fed.

I am grateful to once again step out the back door and capture the wonders of nature.
