Ball of red
As regular as clock work (end of November each year), this blood lily plant would show off its beautiful ball of red coloured flower.
Alike a bulb plant, a green spear would came out of the ground and grew to about 6 in (30cm) followed by a bloom bulb atop the spear. A few days later, popped this beautiful red spikes flower.
The leaves would follow to feed the bulb for the next year's bloom.
