AbstractThursday: Fauvism

I am posting early to force myself to stop playing with images for today.  I can't seem to get exactly what I want and have spent a few hours on it already....and I could keep doing it all day!  I like this one, though, even if it's not perfect.  I would love it if the other artists today could share some of their techniques tomorrow.  Look here to see the amazing images on this theme.  Thanks so much to Ingeborg for taking over the hosting of Abstract Thursdays.  What a wonderful theme to start out with!  :-))

Edit:  I almost forgot to say....It's snowing!  We broke a heat record yesterday at 80 F (27 C).  Gotta love Colorado!  I might add a snowy photo as an extra later.  :-))))
         First extra added:  Piper licking the first snowflakes of the season off her nose.  This is almost the same spot where I took my abstract picture 3 hours ago.  Still snowing....
