Bird Cakes

With the weather suddenly turning much colder, I decided to make some high protein "cakes" for the birds.  The recipe included fruit and honey and smelled good enough to eat, but I resisted (mainly due to the presence of bird seed too!)

I've hung one up by the other feeders (see Extra) and the little darlings have studiously ignored it for the past two hours!  Hope it doesn't get eaten in one swoop by a crow:-)
