Workpermit

Yesterday I told about the difference between 36 years ago and today. If there is one subject which saw a great change it is safety. Here you see our apprentice Michiel filling in a workpermit before climbing into the foremast. By doing so, he cannot go up before a supervisor put his signature under his request. And that means that at least a supervisor knows what he is up to and that all correct safety precautions were taken and all risks were assessed. Quite a difference with earlier days.
