Rain Stopped Play

I took Arthur to play in the park. Thunder and lightning were hovering around as we played and we ignored it, but suddenly the heavens opened. There was only one other boy in the park and he, like us, had no umbrella so the three of us were stranded. We took shelter under the canopy of a small community centre in the park and enjoyed watching the lightning and listening to the thunder for a couple of hours. I wasn't fast enough to catch a blip of a lightning bolt, but I thought the boys looked sweet together reveling in nature's spectacular display.
