Sitting by yourself in an otherwise busy cafe, may have provided the instigation for this man to read a weighty tomb on Transactional Analysis.

It seemed that the other cafe frequenters were quite happy to pursue the practice rather than the theory.

As for me, I had the torture of watching his Lordship consume a huge date slice with his coffee whilst I nursed a cappuccino and salivated, and tried to think slim thoughts.

How long can this self deprivation last? The answer is not long, as his Lordship is taking me out to the new Malaysian restaurant for a meal this evening - just 6 hours to go, and counting.
