Poppy

On Sunday, July 29th, I planted some poppy seedlings into a large plant pot. I know the exact date, because I mentioned it in my blip that day!!

That is yet another wonderful aspect of keeping a blip journal, keeping track of what has happened, what daily events were important on a particular day, and being able to refer back to them.

So here we are, almost three weeks later, and already I have the beginnings of tiny poppy flowers appearing!

I played around with the photo in Picasa just a bit, so as to add a little touch of interest to the green foliage.

Can't wait for the flowers to grow and open, and with the fine sunny days we have been getting lately, it won't be too long before that happens. :)
