the birthday girl

Daniel painted the baby's room this morning! I am so pleased because that means we can now start filling it with stuff that is sitting elsewhere around the house, taking up space! I can't wait to start going through all the second-hand clothes we've been given and sorting them into size, getting them washed and folded and put away all ready for when bubba comes along :)

This afternoon we spent at Caroline's as it was Sarah's 9th birthday :) She got lots of nice gifts including horse riding kit from dad and a box to keep all her horse riding gear in from her mum and dad. Pierre and I got her a Lego Friends set and Sarah and I spent the afternoon building it. She did most of the work - very impressive!

This is Sarah, bump, and me...with a photobombing Marie-Claire at the bottom! Hehe! I didn't even know she was there until I looked back at the pics later.

Caroline has given us a wardrobe, a shelves unit, and a Bugaboo buggy! All stuff that she didn't need anymore. We brought it all back with us this afternoon so the baby's room has been well and truly upgraded today!

Got pizzas for dinner and all went to bed early.
