All in a day's work!

Not everyone is lucky (!) enough to have a telephone post in their garden. This one is tucked in a corner of my garden wall and the man up the pole is investigating the problem with my phone line.  The phone went dead in the middle of a call on Saturday morning .... since then the phone has remained silent. Just as the rain was at its worst this afternoon the Openreach van arrived at my gate ...... all is now well and I am once again connected to the phone network.
