Murky days

As perhaps they were in the Great War. The Memorial on North Uist is on a bluff overlooking the moor and with today's wind and rain driving in, the Remembrance Service required some persistence. Pipers played, priests prayed and people were poured upon. All the more moving for it....
The groundworks for the shed continue as you can see albeit at snail's pace. Depressing to take down a wall Sam and I built with pride three years ago. Surprising perhaps it stood so long!
