Tapestries

I went to the castle today to observe the tapestries being re-hung. The extra is of the blank wall awaiting its own tapestry. Sadly, the conservators were all at lunch, but instead I listened to a pop up talk in the Library, subject matter Weekend House Parties at LC. The 'Talker' was great and really engaged with his audience. He also told me that in our Barn, in storage he has seen a life size models of a Butler and Footman that were used in an exhibition several years ago. I have asked for them for the Victorian Christmas workshops, so hoping someone can collect them for me!
