Taken in the grounds of the University campus (lots of us still call it the college). This tree always looks splendid in the autumn and surprisingly I haven't blipped it before. If you want to see more of the tree click on the extra.

I encountered an idiot driver this morning while coming back from the gym .............. a silver Vauxhall which overtook on the bends between Clappersgate and Skelwith.  It really wasn't worth the risk for the few seconds he saved.
