Before the rain

There were only six of us at photography this morning, which gave us the opportunity to explore Google's Nik Collection.  A useful morning.

This afternoon I had a quick walk around the block and took this picture looking back towards the west as the rain clouds gathered.  The silver birch trees you can see still have to drop their leaves and guess whose garden they will be landing in?

The birds are gradually returning to the feeders and it looks like the winter blackbirds have arrived.
