Eastleigh

My work at the OU has taken me to some very interesting places: Japan, India, Sierra Leone, Spain and ... Eastleigh. We travelled down by train to visit a school where we will be doing some filming at the end of the month. This statue of Charlotte Mary Yonge (1823 to 1901), a local writer who suggested the spelling 'Eastleigh' rather than 'Eastley' because it was more modern, is right outside the station.
