Humour?

This sign is in the seriously practical kitchenette at the church I work at. I cannot work out if it's meant to be serious or not - the surroundings imply so, but I just cannot believe someone would write that intentionally.

This is another swapped photo with what appears to be Saturdays. So this sign is actually my Saturday shot, and the eggs belong to Friday. Also, my tyre yesterday (the eggs pic) was slashed. I wish I had a quick fix for that kind of boredom.
