The Avenue

I visited our friends, the O'Connors, today. Dawn and I wondered around the farm and I was quite taken with this avenue of trees. Flowering Hawthorns on the left and red Chestnut trees on the right.
The earthquake of two days ago has been upgraded from 7.5 to 7.8..... a massive quake. We feel for the people at Kaikoura, both residents and tourists. Luckily the Navy ships of several countries have headed there to help evacuate folk.
