Swans' feet

We still have these 2 swans in our care. The large male in foreground tried landing on the road. He made such a mess of his feet- really badly lacerated. Lots of stitches later, the feet are healing. They both developed bad ulcers on their feet. Our vet has made these special "booties" to relieve pressure on ulcers and finally with the use of lots of honey they re nearly healed.
