Christmas is a serious business
I walked to Cabinet this morning along George St .
In the two weeks since I last did so the Christmas lights have started to go up including this large edifice which is being constructed at the east end abutting Charlotte Square.
I recognized it from last year, when it was erected in the High St - indeed I blipped it on the 16th of December so here is a preview of what will soon be lighting up the New Town : https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2123975149140051011
An added incentive for blipping this today was that I used to work in the big building on the right which is 121 George St, the HQ of the Church of Scotland. I was there from August 1974 to September 1977 in various roles including working as a press officer and AV Producer.
