Another casualty

 of country living.....

Everywhere you go in the country, there's dead things. I suppose it relates to the population of live things and the power of the machines which occasionally cross their path.

There isn't much of a match between a young deer and a Volvo, even one which is driven carefully, the deer jump out into the lane and a smack on the head at 30 mph is enough to make all their troubles go away.
