Painting by Torchlight...

...well, varnishing actually.  We have had replacement doors fitted, in a rather nice oak veneer.  However, they need varnishing, so 11 doors (both sides and edges of course) x three coats of varnish each.  So, as you can imagine we're keen to get them completed.
Our electrician unexpectedly arrived in the early afternoon to carry out various jobs, so the power was turned off for a couple of hours. 
It got darker much quicker than I anticipated and so the head torch was deployed to enable me to complete the door I had optimistically started to varnish when it was still light enough.
