Let the train take the strain

I arrived in Stirling by bus rather than train - no railway near where I live -  but I nipped up the steps of the new bridge to get this view of the railway station. I like the zigzag effect of the roof.

It's been a while since I was in the town centre, so I was shocked at the number of shops that had closed and disappointed at the amount of Christmas tat already on sale everywhere!

I was, however, delighted that the plea for a return to sunshine and blue sky had been granted, although it is still very mild and the snow on the mountains has all but disappeared.
