Road trip

Had a birthday today..... 'nuff said.....but the HG said we should do something special, so we went on a wee road trip over the Trossachs.   We stopped at a new farm shop and café and had a meal, only opened for three weeks and the food was great. 

The weather was lovely, bright sunshine and temperature of about 11C.  We drove along past the Lake of Menteith, and then did a bit of a circle back home, coming through Strathblane and stopped at the Kirkhouse for a coffee...... I don't drink spirits although I like red wine (too much) but I do like the look of a nicely stocked bar.

Off to the AGM of our walking club tonight..... should be interesting.......
