Not a good day

We had planned a trip to Worcester today but --
I got up feeling less than 100% , Redilady decided on a solo trip, walked into town, found that the hourly bus now ran 10 minutes earlier and abandoned the trip.
Fortunately I had a suitable subject for Tiny Tuesday, my extremely cheap infra red shutter release which has always functioned rather erraticly.
The reason, I found, was the silver spot bottom left, or rather the lack of it. It forms part of the switch and should conduct electricity. It did, sometimes. A small piece of kitchen foil and double sided sticky tape made a crude but effective repair.
