New Faces

Last night the Samba Sisters held the second of our two workshops for potential new members. They learned a piece called "Afoxe" and we put all the parts together at the end of the night and it sounded pretty good! I hope that some of the new faces will become our new Sisters in the months to come.

We will be performing in Dumfries on Saturday for the Motorcycle Run and on November 25th we are taking the bus up to Galashiels to play at "Reclaim the Night". Then a social event which I  am really looking forward to - a Murder Mystery Evening! My character is Huges la Grandbutte, Deputy Mayor of Casablanca ("the epitome of solid respectability").

Life as a Samba Sister is never dull :-)
