Moon in a pan

Pumpkin pancakes were the nearest thing to a supermoon that I saw.
I made them with the school children who have a regular slot at our cafe. They were a huge hit with kids and staff alike and by good chance we have a big bottle of (fake) maple syrup donated by the crew of a sailing ship that needed to divest of surplus stores. Pumpkins we are loaded with courtesy of harvest festival offerings.  It's sheer lunacy to let them go to waste.

The recipe is simplicity itself and I heartily recommend it. Best with (real) maple syrup.
