Just 3 hours
Fab day in Sydney today, sunny and 22 degrees, like summer!
Worked the morning from the place we're stating, although I did sneak out for a coffee, and then into town to mete up with Mike and have lunch with an old client whom I have kept in touch. He also used to work in the ski industry, so lots to talk about. Brilliant to catch up.
Then back on the tube, where coincidentally I spotted this poster. In light of the last 2 or 3 days evaluating the differences in skiing NZ vs Australia, wrong message. Interesting.
Back to the house, pick up the car and off to the airport, via Ikea. We don't have Ikea in NZ, it was my first visit. Wow! Maybe not the best quality, but pretty interesting stuff and just so much of it. The place was HUGE. Picked up a few things, stuffed them into my bag, airport, plane, home at midnight.
Always good to head to Aussie. People are very friendly, more so than NZ I think. It is expensive, especially when converting NZD. And it's huge, in every respect. The city, the distances to drive etc. Fab trip, but great to be home.
