Unbelievable.

Woke up at 5am from the loud pouring rain outside... hurriedly grabbed my phone to check the news, and saw the election counts said Donald Trump had a 95% likeliness to become President. My half asleep self was plunged into a whirlwind of disbelief and shock and anger, then I fell asleep... and woke up to find Donald Trump president. WHAT IS THIS YEAR. REALLY. Absolute insanity.

The atmosphere at work and around London was the same as the day we found out the Brexit result - stunned sombre silence. By the time I got the tube home in the evening the papers had all come out and I saw people reading headlines such as this, and visibly shaking their heads.
