Super moon
An overturned lorry on the M6 northbound meant that it took me best part of 2 hours to drive home (despite the whole journey being south bound, and not going on the M6!). John took even longer. So by the time we'd cooked and eaten tea, getting to photography club wasn't going to happen. As the clouds were thick all day we didn't expect to get a glimpse of the moon - but teatowel in hand I glanced out of the window as John washed up and the clouds had thinned enough to see the moon. Obviously the teatowel was then abandoned whilst I went to grab camera. 120-400mm lens and tripod for a few quick shots before the clouds closed in again.
