Horses, dogs and blocked drains

A full day of horsing and dogging. Went out to Stromness and got Willie then Rosie out under harness - Interesting watching the differences between them. Both did well and Rosie took in a new route. Back in their stables, neither seemed phased by it.

Next it was Ruby's turn. She's coming up 4 and has been sat on a few times and led out with a rider  for a short distance a couple of times. As she has been so quiet in the past, we decided we'd lead her out from another horse - A job for Djego the wonderhorse! I am still shaking my head in disbelief at how good Ruby was. She was forward going, didn't cling to Djego for comfort and wasn't bothered by anything. On the way back home we unclipped from the lead rope and went solo. She even chose to walk ahead for a short while. Just WOW.

Dogs walked at Brodgar and rabbits chased followed by more painting of kitchen cupboards. Gorgeous got called out to a blocked bog just before dinner and is still wrangling with drain rods as I type :(
