Last of the Summer - Artichokes

I had a little totter round the garden today. It was looking a bit wild. I think some things are still trying to grow - like the sweet peas in the extra.

But this artichoke has definitely turned up its toes. I don't know why we grow them, as we hardly ever eat them. Too much like hard work. But they look very impressive as they wither.
