Hardy's Dorset part II

Visited Max Gate this morning. It was designed by Thomas Hardy and he lived there with his wife Emma and then his second wife, until his death. The National Trust have been very busy since the last tenants moved out, furnishing it in the style of the day. You can now see many more rooms than before, and very lovely it is too.
