Clematis Tangutica

A mild day but dull and rather damp.  The leaves continue to cover the pavements and gardens.  I thought about clearing some from the back garden but I think I'll wait until my neighbour's tree is completely bare and them I'll venture out with black bag and magic hands.

This pretty lantern shaped clematis is growing just beside the gate of one of the houses I pass when walking Togbe round the block.
