WHAT YOU LOOKIN AT MATE....

.... a new bird for me today!

After another fun busy day went via the dam on way home and found the pelicans having a grand ole time in the shallows. With the water quite low presently the bird life is having a "feast" of a time!

Then in flew this yellow billed spoonbill and set about getting some action of it's own. Apparently the fine black feathers in the tail indicate in breeding.

Not to be left out a shag then zoomed past to settle on a fence post to survey the activity.
