Roosebeck

We had intended to get up early as the best of the light was promised early in the day.  That didn't happen.

Popped up to Fell Foot later on but it was very grey and still.  From there to Stollers in Barrow to look at sofas - ours is beginning to sag.  Rather like us.


Home via the coast road and we stopped at Roosebeck as it was quite misty there.  You can just see the Blackpool Tower which was a bit of a surprise to me.

I heard the sad news about another earthquake in NZ.  No 2 son texted from Hamilton on the North Island to say he had felt rumbling at about midnight (NZ time) but turned over and went gone back to sleep!   They are all fine but my  heart goes out to everyone affected there.
