What a Day

...It all started just after midnight, when I was woken by an earthquake.
It wasn't very strong where we are, but it was enough to wake me. This was followed by several more quakes all over the country, and then a tsunami alert was issued.
I was so busy listening to the updates on the radio that I hardly got any sleep.

Them I had my colonoscopy (blip of me with my hospital issued red socks) late this morning, which was extremely uncomfortable, but the surgeon found no polyps whatsoever, which was an excellent result. 
I don't need to see him for another three years.

I dedicate today's blip to all those who have suffered as a result of the earthquakes.
